Hello my name is Ryan Long. A father, husband and a follower of Christ. I am a lifelong outdoorsman and hunter currently living is Southwest Florida. I grew up in the woods of Eastern Kentucky, scouting timber, glassing fields, and learning how to read sign and wind. Opening Day Camo first became an idea because I just could not find a camo that I liked. Many are dark and makes the person look like a blob from a distance or makes you stick out from the side of the tree. My camo is the opposite and brings something new to the market. Our signature lighter brushstroke camo pattern that is unique and different. I used the things I learned in the USMC to help me design it. But my story starts very early in my life.

I harvested my first game animal at 5 and my first Whitetail Deer at only 8. Whether it be with firearms or bows. I am a hunter at heart and it's a drive that has never left me no matter where I have been. Hunting shaped me and guided me through my life and helped me immensely in the Marine Corps infantry. It taught me discipline, stewardship, and how to hear God's voice in the quiet moments between first light and the first rustle of leaves.

I'm building Opening Day Camo for the hunters who lives for that first sit of the season, those who sweated through the summer pre-season scouting, who fought the bugs and mosquitoes, and got caught in the summer storms. This is the camo for those that thank God for every harvest and is seeking a camo company that has Christian based values. We will be praying over each and every piece we sell in Jesus' name, asking for His protection, guidance and blessings over everyone who wears it. We don't want this clothing to be just camo.

We have hunted all over the South. From Kentucky to the very South of Florida. The camo is designed for real terrain that we have personally hunted through. From the palmettos, oak hammocks, swamps of the deep south of Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina to the laurels and oak ridges of the Appalachian Mountains. This is for those everyday hunters who actually move through the land during season. No hype. No ego. Just purpose driven gear built for the hunt that won't quit on you on opening day after all the hard work.

This fundraiser will help me secure inventory, equipment, and startup materials to launch a brand that supports my family and serves the hunting community with faith driven purpose. We are not trying to get rich we just want to see affordable high-quality camo for hunters that can't or won't pay $400-500+ for just camo.

We are raising $40,000 to cover essential startup costs:

1. $32,000 for the first inventory run. It will be our pants, hats, and performance hoodies.
2. Website, business license, and EIN
3. Affordable shipping setup
4. Product Patens, Branding and Marketing
5. Vendor fees for markets, hunting and Christian expos

Our target customers are everyday hunters who want quailty gear but can't or won't pay excessive pricing. Most camo companies' upcharge in the range of 300% we will not be doing that. Taking advantage of people like that is not right. Our pricing is not the cheapest because we are new and have zero inventory, however we are the furthest from expensive. The pricing is accessible for nearly everyone:

1. Pants- $110
2. Hoodie- $80
3. Hats- $35

Total if bought separate will be $225. Though we hope people buy it as a bundle, so we will sell that for $205. A $20 dollar discount.

Short term goals: first 2 years

1. Launch the brand by the summer of 2027 at least 3 months before August
2. Pay off startup cost. We want to start with the least amount of loans as possible
3. Become profitable within 2 years
4. Add short and long sleeves shirts

Long term goals: 3 years after startup

1. Attend major expos: Mobile hunters, Etar, etc.
2. Expand product lines to Mid-season
3. Sponsor hunters
4. Create a legacy that I can leave to my children
