We are former employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of State Police.  Here, a mix of sworn and civilian personnel, brought together by our resolve to take a stand for our strongly held beliefs.  Collectively, we loyally served this department for well over 80 years.

In August of 2021, Governor Baker initiated Executive Order 595 for all executive department employees.  By October, All were ordered to comply or were to be allowed: "a procedure to allow limited exemptions from the vaccination requirement where a reasonable accommodation can be reached for any employee who is unable to receive COVID-19 vaccination due to medical disability or who is unwilling to receive COVID-19 vaccination due to a sincerely held religious belief."

Each one of us chose to stand by our conviction and, thus, endure this grueling process.  It was invasive at best, and very quickly became evident there was absolutely zero chance of our being accommodated.  

Only for Mayor Healey to rescind this Executive Order in 2023.  Contrary to popular belief, most of us have not been offered our jobs back.  Only but a few -- these seven sworn employees were never terminated.  They fought hard for and were awarded an injunction; this forced them into a state of limbo for almost two years before they were fully reinstated.

We have all lost family, both blood and otherwise, along the way. We were ostracized by many; discriminated against by those put in a position to judge our level of faith. We each made this decision for ourselves and our loved ones, and it is ultimately what brought us all together. We have taken the first leap towards preventing medical tyranny against other American adults, children, and our future generations.

The fight is far from over, though.  This case currently sits in front of a federal judge, awaiting the slow hands of Justice.  We will show by a preponderance of evidence that they not only infringed upon our Civil Rights, but they also destroyed many lives in the process.
