Fundraiser ends Nov. 15th.
Recently, Fr. Linus joined us for a St. Patrick’s Men’s Group gathering and shared about his doctoral research, the extensive travel required to complete it and the need to fund the research.
Fr. Linus wasn’t asking us for help. But after hearing about his work, we thought many in our St. Patrick’s community would want the opportunity to support him so we created this fundraiser.
His research examines Catholic missionary and liturgical approaches in Eastern Africa from 1860 through the post-Vatican II era. To complete it, he needs to study original Church archives in France, Italy, and Kenya.
Fr. Linus estimates he will need approximately $30,000 to cover international travel, professional translation of historical documents, lodging, and related research expenses.
Our goal is to help him get his first $10,000.
Please keep Fr. Linus and his work in your prayers, and share this fundraiser with others in the St. Patrick’s community.
Thank you for your generosity, and God bless you!
