On September 25, my nephew Kyle was struck by a vehicle while riding his e-bike to work. He suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones, and now faces a long recovery that will require surgeries and months away from work.
Because of his injuries, Kyle has been unable to earn an income. While the driver was insured and an attorney is helping with his case, those processes take time. Unfortunately, his rent and bills haven’t stopped, but his paycheck has.
What makes this especially hard is how far he's come. Over the past couple of years, he’s worked incredibly hard to rebuild his life and find stability. He’s started over more than once, and he’s done it with real determination. He’s the kind of person who figures things out on his own, so asking for help doesn’t come easily to him. That’s why I’m asking on his behalf.
We’re raising $3,000 to cover his rent and immediate bills while he heals. This isn’t for extras. It’s to keep a roof over his head and his essential bills current, so he can focus on getting better instead of lying awake worrying about falling behind.
Every amount helps. Even $5 or $10 brings him closer to the goal and lifts some of the weight off his shoulders.
If you can’t give, please share. You never know who might see it and be able to help.
Kyle still believes that a hard chapter doesn’t have to be the end of the story, and so do I. With a little help, he can heal, get his strength back, and keep moving forward.
From our whole family, thank you for reading, giving, sharing, or simply sending him a kind word. It means more than we can say. ❤️

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! ”
