Help Danny attend UWW Thailand Open

Danny Carlson is a youth Wrestler on the Palau National Team and a member of the Palau Wrestling Federation. He has been wrestling for 3 years. In 2023 Danny competed in a National tournament and wrestled athletes in an older age group and higher weight class. Despite his age and weight disadvantage Danny won a silver medal in free style wrestling. In October 2025 Danny traveled to Australia to compete in a United World Wrestling event. Danny's weight class was not available so the tournament organizers allowed him to compete in the 15U 44kg category. Danny was only 13 at the time and he competed against 15 year olds. Despite the age and maturity disadvantage Danny won a Silver Medal. Danny was able to train and compete with athletes from across Australia and the Pacific. In July of 2026 Danny competed in a National tournament in the 15U 44kg category and won a gold medal. He won all his matches by pin and none of the other wrestlers scored a point on him. Danny currently trains 6 days a week. On three of those days he does strength and conditioning in the morning for an hour. The wrestling teams trains between 2 and 3 hours in the evening Monday through Saturday. Danny is very consistent and almost never missed practice. Palau currently has three wrestling athletes on scholarship preparing for the 2028 Olympics. Danny's goal is to represent Palau in the 2032 Olympics. Danny has been very dedicated to his school work and practice. He is an excellent student, he's well behaved, and very dedicated to the sport and his family. We are asking for help to fund his trip to Thailand this November. Unfortunately Palau Wrestling is very underfunded and they can only afford to send one athlete and one coach. The athelete being paid to go to Thailand takes priority over Danny because he is older and he is preparing for the Pacific Games in 2027 and the Olympics in 2028. We would love to be able to give Danny the opportunity to train and compete in Thailand in order to help him prepare for the 2027 Pacific Games in Tahiti and then the youth Olympics in 2030.
