We have completed our training course and will soon be starting our home study process. It’s our intention to register for a domestic private adoption and wait to be selected by a birth family to be entrusted with the care and upbringing of our child. Each step of the process comes with its own unique challenges and expenses.
We are grateful for all the love and support of our family and friends over the years on this difficult journey. As we start this new chapter, we ask for continued prayer and love and if you are able to contribute financially to this goal, we will be forever grateful.
To acknowledge our family and friend’s generosity during this journey with us, as well as commemorate that generosity for our future child as a part of his or her story, we will be recording the names of those who participate in this campaign. Their names and/or initials will be recorded on the game pieces of a copy of Settlers of Catan, one of our first and favourite board games (one that we’ve played with many of you). This special game will be kept and gifted to the child at the right time to teach them about their own story and (hopefully!) inspire a love for the community and enjoyment that comes with board games.
