Thank you for taking the time to read this and why I need your help. I had moved into a home that needs some updating, over time and after getting everything turned on, like electricity, water, and all of the other utilities to operate a home, I was unable to get my gas turned on. The company that came out to test the gas service to the home saw that one of the dials on the meter was spinning, which indicated there was a leak. I was then instructed to get it looked at, find the leak, and get it all up to code since the house had not been worked on in many years. Come to find out, that there was more to be done to fix this leak somewhere. I had our local plumbers come out to inspect the lines that were recently dug up to look for this leak, and I was informed that the lines are too shallow and too old, and had to be replaced! Which is how we ended up here. I was also unaware that plumbers take care of that project, but it is what it is. Anyway, the plumber came out and estimated the price to do a whole house rework of the lines, because there was no knowing where the leak was or how many if he pressurized the line to find out. SO, I need help to get the lines fixed at the current cost of parts and labor, this way there is no more concerns for the future of this house, and when I do have my sons with me, there is not a worry about heating the home and properly preparing meals for us all.
