José Felan is a political prisoner who was captured during the 2020 George Floyd uprising in Minnesota. After many long years of sacrifice and struggle behind bars, José is being released into a halfway house on December 3, 2025, but he needs community support to get back on his feet.

Help us fundraise $10K to cover the cost of 3 months' rent, a car, clothes, and other basic living expenses for José so he can get back on his feet. José is a talented chef who dreams of opening his own restaurant and is passionate about helping and supporting other prisoners.

Incarceration doesn't stop when someone walks free -- they must face the enormous task of rebuilding their life from nothing after the state has taken everything away from them.
