My granddaughter, Emma Smith, having just turned 19 recently, finds herself at a major crossroads in her life. She is uncertain of the road the Lord would have her take as she embarks on her adult life. Of course, she has some desires and ideas, but doesn’t know for certain, the direction she should take. One thing for sure however, she wants to have a sure biblical foundation for the journey ahead, and after much research, contemplation, and prayer she has decided that a year at Montana Wilderness school of the Bible would benefit her Christian life greatly, regardless of her future pursuits. Emma applied and was accepted to Montana wilderness school of the Bible .

Her Grandmother and I, who have played a vital role in her life from birth until now, along with her mother and stepfather all agree this would be the right thing to do and we wholeheartedly agree Bible College would be a great fit. The major problem is financial.

Due to a long waitlist for the fall of 2026 and financial need, Emma will begin school in the fall of 2027 and is saving as much as she can to defray the costs. Her job is greatly inadequate, and as her grandparents, we are on a fixed income and can only give so much. Her mother, Sarah, has multiple sclerosis and struggles immensely on a daily basis. Coupled with her husband’s financial situation, they are not able to contribute much either. My wife and I raised four daughters on the mission field in Brazil, and those 16 years of ministry, unfortunately, have left us without many financial resources. Therefore, we are appealing to anyone who could contribute any amount toward what we feel is a very worthy cause. Please be in prayer for Emma as she endeavors to embark on a life of serving our great Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
