Raj Kathuria has now continued his appeal to the Appellate Court of Maryland against our desire to keep our residential neighborhood free of industrial refineries. He has refused to accept Wicomico County's stop-work order for the construction of the biorefinery on Hickory Mill Rd. However, our neighborhood is well-represented by the attorneys who have been wise and fair on our behalf! As the appeals continue to the State Court, the attorneys need to file additional briefs, drive them to Annapolis for quick deadlines, and argue our position in person before the courts.
The immediate neighbors are contributing what they can in the legal battle but we are united to cover an additional $1000 for ongoing attorney costs. PLEASE consider a donation TODAY so we can keep this industrial project out of our neighborhood!
