For over three years, we have been on the incredible journey of adopting our great-nephew, little Eddie—a journey that has meant everything to our family. Throughout this process, we have faced numerous court hearings, delays, and challenges, but we have never wavered in our commitment to giving him the safe, loving, and permanent home he deserves.

We are incredibly grateful to share that we have officially won our court case for the termination of the biological parents' parental rights. This is a huge milestone and an answer to countless prayers. If no appeal is filed, our next and final step will be officially adopting little Eddie and making him a permanent member of our family.

While we are celebrating this victory, the legal expenses from this lengthy process have grown far beyond what we anticipated. After years of court proceedings and multiple continuances, we are still working to cover approximately $10,000 in legal fees.
