In augustus vond de hardhandige en buitenproportionele aanhouding van Geuzenbond-activist Thomas plaats. Het regime zag zijn kans schoon, na jaren van het lastigvallen van jonge activisten en het proberen te infiltreren van onze organisatie. De gepolitiseerde AIVD vond eindelijk een reden om het volle staatsgeweld in te zetten onder het mom van een ‘terreurdreiging’, en zo een jongeman die zich enkel inzette voor de toekomst van zijn land proberen achter de tralies te doen verdwijnen. Politieke repressie heeft echter zware financiële effecten. Help Thomas financiële schade die door de inval is veroorzaakt te vergoeden en zijn leven weer op te kunnen pikken zodra hij vrijkomt. The politicised Dutch secret service finally found a reason to use the full force of the state under the guise of a “terrorist threat” and thus try to put a young man who was only committed to the future of his country behind bars.
