Our family is reaching out for prayers, love, and support as my husband, Mike, faces one of the biggest battles of his life.
Mike has been diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome-positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, an aggressive form of blood cancer. Since his diagnosis, he has endured intensive chemotherapy and specialized treatments. Tomorrow, October 15th, Mike begins the next major step in his fight against leukemia with his stem cell transplant. This is a significant milestone in his journey, and we are holding on to hope and praying for healing as he faces what lies ahead.
But Mike is so much more than his diagnosis. He is my devoted, loving husband and a fantastic Papa to our precious grandbabies, Maverick and Gracie. He means the world to our family, and we want nothing more than to have more time together, make more memories, and watch our grandbabies grow.
Through this difficult season, our faith has become an even greater source of strength. On October 4th, Mike made the beautiful decision to give his life to the Lord and was saved and baptized. This was an incredibly special moment for us, and we continue to lean on God for strength, comfort, and hope as we walk this road together.
As Mike begins his stem cell transplant journey, one of our biggest challenges is the cost of traveling back and forth to the hospital for his transplant, treatment, follow-up appointments, and ongoing medical care. Every trip requires gas, meals, and other travel expenses, and these costs add up quickly. Donations will go directly toward helping cover these necessary trips so Mike can get to every appointment and receive the care he needs without adding more financial stress to our family.
We are asking you to please donate if you are able. Even a small contribution can help cover a portion of the miles between our home and the hospital and allow us to focus on Mike's treatment, recovery, and being there for him every step of the way. If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser with your friends and family and keep Mike in your prayers.
Every donation, share, prayer, and act of kindness makes a real difference for our family. We believe in the power of prayer, the strength of faith, and the kindness of people who come together during life's hardest moments. We know the road ahead may be long, but we are facing it with faith, hope, and love.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside Mike and our family during this fight. Please continue to pray for Mike's transplant, healing, strength, and recovery.
With love, faith, and gratitude,
Angie and family ❤️🙏
