Support My Calling: Help Fund 4-8 Years of Catholic Seminary Formation from Hawaii to the Mainland
Aloha, brothers and sisters in Christ, family, and faith community!
My name is Peter Fard, and from the sun-kissed shores and spirit-filled parishes of Hawaii, I've long sensed God's gentle nudge toward the priesthood, a vocation to proclaim the Gospel with the warmth of aloha. This calling has deepened through prayer and discernment, leading me to California and Oregon for a rigorous 4-8 year theology and formation program. Here, I'll immerse in scripture, sacraments, pastoral skills, and spiritual growth to become a diocesan priest, ready to serve wherever the Church needs me.
Uprooting from Hawaii my ohana, the endless ocean, and island heartbeat feels like stepping into a divine adventure. The Diocese of Honolulu is a steadfast partner, funding the bulk of my studies, but Hawaii's remoteness means steep upfront and ongoing costs for travel and logistics. That's where you come in: through GiveSendGo, this Christ-centered platform, I'm seeking your support to cover the essentials for this transformative journey. Your generosity isn't just help it's holy companionship on the road to ordination, echoing the early Church's communal giving (Acts 2:44-45).
Mahalo nui loa with gratitude deeper than the sea. Let's co-create this chapter of faith, fueling vocations one donation at a time.
In Christ's embrace,
Peter Fard
