The Patriot's Legal Defense Fund is asking for donations to organize and establish IRS 501(c)(3) status and registration for major fund-raising in the 38 states that require and for infrastructure for bookkeeping.

Our very limited fund-raising has been for specific projects with funds generally for that purpose.

But there is a lot of overhead, legal work, bookkeeping, administrative expenses as well.

We have to spend about $4,500 to try to get recognized by the IRS as a tax deductible non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and file tax returns back to 2022.

There are 38 states which incredibly require registration and a fee to be able to fund-raise in their states. Getting registered for all of these 38 states is likely to cost at least $5,500 in fees to the states and follow-up fees year after year.

We have to pay for a mail box, postage, shipping, printing, etc., etc.

Therefore, in addition to the funds we are asking for specific projects we are asking if anyone will help us out with our organizational costs.

WE will use that to set up the Fund for a larger, organized, systematic fund-raising program.
