Hello my daughter Kaila Rivera is a mother to two girls. She is only 37 years old and she was recently diagnosed with a plastic anemia after multiple multiple health problems. Her bone marrow went from barely functioning to not functioning at all, she is needing a bone marrow transplant as her body does not produce red blood cells at all along with all of this, Starting from a work accident in 2021 she has had multiple surgeries she had to have two brain aneurysms fixed. She’s had a knee surgery where the doctor actually severed her nerve in her leg. She has been on Worker’s Compensation since 2021 is not even enough to cover bills and barely for rent, especially in this economy at the end of April what was originally diagnosed with kidney failure was farther investigation she was officially diagnosed as stage 1 Kidney cancer she regularly gets blood transfusions and iron infusions, but until a bone marrow transplant is complete. We cannot even start to work on anything. For her kidneys, all we can do right now is hope and pray it doesn’t spread, we do have a potential match for her bone marrow transplant, but due to the nature of this auto immune disease, which is what a plastic anemia develops into after chronic anemia. to have the surgery to move forward with being able to take care of the second half of her problems, until bone marrow transplant she can’t even start the treatments for her cancer. they did attempt to do isolation radiation just to keep it monitored, but within 30 minutes of starting the procedure, her red blood cell count dropped so drastically that they had to stop. with the way, everything is going it’s just getting harder and harder on their family. She has a great support system, but financially it’s just in the rut.

UPDATE: in August she was also diagnosed with uterine cancer on 10/28/2026 she had a successful hysterectomy and removed the cancerous cells. She has been matched with a bone marrow donor and that procedure is scheduled for December 29th 2026 as she has to be fully cleared from the hysterectomy with this timeline, we are hoping that she can start treatment for her kidney cancer, which, by the grace of God is still at stage one and from there work on her kidneys. But a huge financial hit happened at the beginning of the month. Her workers compensation got ended as they say that even though she still has to work in injuries and she hasn’t been cleared from that having cancer is also keeping her out of work therefore they have stopped all payments, which has also frozen her Social Security so anything prayers donations anything will help at this point, especially with the holidays coming up and having two young girls. She has been doing everything to stay in high spirits, especially for her daughters, but the stress is really starting to crush her.Thank you
