Tom and Kerrie Krause welcomed their precious son, Holden Jay, into the world on March 27, 2025. Just 10 days later, their lives changed when Holden was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition — Infantile Sialic Acid Storage Disease, a form of Lysosomal Storage Disorder. As a result of this disease, Holden has also been diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy, hearing loss, and global developmental delays that are expected to progress over time.

Many of you know that Tom and Kerrie’s beloved son, Roman Thomas, bravely fought the same diagnosis. Roman went home to be with The Lord in 2022 at just 3 years old. It is difficult to put into words what this family has endured — walking this road once, and now again. Yet even through profound grief, their faith in our Heavenly Father has remained unwavering. The strength, grace, and trust they continue to display are a powerful testimony to God’s sustaining love.

Tom and Kerrie have been presented with the opportunity to pursue stem cell treatment for Holden. While it is not a cure, it offers hope — the possibility of improving Holden’s quality of life and giving him precious time. Stem cell treatment is costly, approximately $12,000 per month. Since October 2025, Holden has been receiving treatment thanks to the extraordinary generosity of dear friends who committed to covering several months of care. As that season of support comes to a close, we humbly ask you to prayerfully consider stepping in to help continue this treatment.
