Update on Gary. Gary continues to fight his daily battle. Lately it seems he has more bad days than good days. He’s on oxygen and very weak. Brenda has taken FLMA to stay home with him. Any monetary gift is greatly appreciated.
Update on Gary. Gary received the results from his PET scan. Unfortunately the cancer has spread. It is in both kidneys, the lower lobe of one lung and a couple of lymph nodes. His medication is VERY expensive. Please continue to pray for Gary as he daily fights this battle and please make a donation if you feel led. We greatly appreciate it!!
Thank you!
Meet Gary. The kindest man you'll ever meet, whose heart overflows with compassion and empathy for others. He’s dedicated years of service to his community through various organizations, from the church to local meals on wheels. His life has always revolved around helping others, and now it’s our turn to support him during this crucial time in his life.
Gary's journey has been a series of tests that no one should ever have to face. Diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, he faces mounting medical bills from various procedures. Just the copays for initial testing totaled $1000! It’s heart-wrenching to see him struggle in such a way after all his years of selfless service.
But let's not just focus on the challenges, though they are undoubtedly real and daunting. Instead, let's remember Gary for who he is—a man whose kindness has touched so many lives without seeking anything in return. His smile alone can light up a room; we need to see that shine again!
We’re reaching out because it's time for us, his community of friends and family, to stand by him as he takes this courageous step forward against cancer. Your donation—no matter the amount—will go a long way in easing some financial burdens off Gary and Brenda during these uncertain times. It may not change their situation drastically but every little bit helps.
Today, I ask you all to join hands with us as we rally behind Gary on his road to recovery. Together, let's give him the strength he needs to keep fighting because that’s what friends are for—standing together in times of need and sharing love through both good times and bad.
Your support will mean so much more than just money; it represents a beacon of hope during dark days, reminding Gary that we're all rooting for him every step of the way. Please share this message widely to ensure his story reaches those who can help. Let’s make sure our friend doesn’t face this battle alone!
With heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation, I remain truly yours— Mary Ann Duckett, one of Gary’s sisters.
