It started as a completely normal day for the Rosendo family—Sierra, Luís, and their two little boys, Gabriel (3) and Milo (2).

Life was moving along as usual, until something small suddenly became something much bigger.

On January 16th, Milo developed swollen lymph nodes in his neck. At first, doctors weren’t too concerned, and things even seemed to be improving. But a few days later, Milo spiked high fevers that wouldn’t go away, even with medication. That’s when his parents knew something wasn’t right. He was later found to have influenza B and an ear infection and given medication but he was still not improving. 

On January 21st, they took Milo to urgent care, where blood work was done just to be safe. The next morning, Sierra received a call no parent is ever prepared for. The doctor urged her to take Milo to the emergency room immediately-all of his blood counts were dangerously low.

Within hours, their world changed forever. Milo was diagnosed with early-stage Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Now, this sweet little boy is facing a long and difficult road ahead, starting with an intense, month-long chemotherapy treatment. This journey requires round-the-clock care, strength, and support—emotionally, physically, and financially.
