My name is Lorence Hud. I was asked to create this campaign, “CHARTER RIGHTS HEARINGS” because my Charter Rights Case led to “HOMEOWNERS AGAINST SECRET TAX SALES”, a campaign that was started to require the Government to give Notice to the owner before selling anyone’s home in a tax sale. “HOMEOWNERS AGAINST SECRET TAX SALES” naturally evolved into “CHARTER RIGHTS FOR ALL”, which has now transitioned into “CHARTER RIGHTS HEARINGS” because my Charter Rights Case has progressed a great deal and we are now at the point where we are awaiting Charter Rights Hearings in the Supreme Court of Canada https://www.scc-csc.ca/case-dossier/info/dock-regi-eng.aspx?cas=41345 , the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, CV-20-00000224-0000 and the Law Society of Ontario, CAS-137784-R2B8Y1.
