Lolcow, LLC (d/b/a Kiwi Farms) hosts an Internet forum where pseudonymous users privately discuss news, events, and online figures. Unsurprisingly, the people discussed do not enjoy the scrutiny, and they frequently resort to litigation to suppress it.

For four years, an ex-Google transgender millionaire using the name Liz Fong-Jones has tried and failed to shut down the Kiwi Farms under the banner of "#EndKiwiFarms." After failing to bully business owners into denying the site Internet resources, and failing to drag an innocent person through court in Australia, he has resorted to abusing domestic copyright protections to force the Kiwi Farms to either censor user posts or require that users dox themselves to him on demand to defend their posts. He can, and has, attacked individual forum users to get them fired or to litigate them into compliance.

To what end? The Kiwi Farms hosts screenshots where Liz Fong-Jones admits there are allegations of sexual assault relating to an encounter he described as "risk-aware consensual kink" and a "consent accident". He would like this information memory-holed.

We have filed suit and seek a declaratory judgment that his copyright claims are unfounded. Depending on the success of this fundraiser, we may also seek greater relief for the damage caused by #EndKiwiFarms.
