Every year, we deliver thousands of free books directly into eager young hands, sparking joy in stories and building the foundation for lifelong literacy in remote communities where resources are scarce. 

Our free literacy summer camps offer specialized, diagnostic & prescriptive instruction tailored for children struggling with dyslexia and other reading hurdles, helping them overcome obstacles, gain confidence, and discover the magic of words in a supportive, fun environment. 

We also provide free water safety and swim lessons, equipping kids with essential life-saving skills to stay safe while playing in the ocean that defines their world. 

To ensure these bright minds can focus and thrive, we supply free healthy snacks and meals during our tutoring sessions and camps, because no child should have to learn on an empty stomach. 

And in an “only in island life” twist, we can’t ignore and turn away from the adorable local stray potcakes—(those friendly mixed-breed island dogs), who seem to appear at nearly every tutoring location, wagging their tails and bringing smiles to the children, who always want to feed them or share snacks with them, too). Your support helps us buy lthe bags of dogfood that we always keep in our vehicle for the potcakes. The children always ask feed them, so we always take the opportunity to teach the children about the importance of neutering and spaying, and heartworm prevention, as part of caring for these kindly pups and pets here, in general.

Behind the scenes, the logistics are daunting: we rely on your support to fund the shipping of critical resources across the ocean—from laptops and printing paper to ink, specialized books, teaching supplies, engaging crafts, Bibles, puzzles, and games that make learning interactive and exciting.
