Support Leah Hoopes: A Citizen Fighting for Her Republic, Her Rights, and the Truth
For more than four years, Leah Hoopes has stood almost entirely alone on the front lines of one of the most consequential battles of our generation: the fight for transparent government, constitutional accountability, and the right of every American to speak truth without retaliation.
She has endured what no private citizen in a constitutional republic should ever face—coordinated political lawfare, defamation, intimidation, financial assault, and targeted government retaliation—simply because she exercised the First Amendment right to petition her government for redress of grievances.
And she has done it without a legal team, without donors, and without institutional protection.
She has fought pro se, against some of the largest and most politically connected law firms in Pennsylvania, including Duane Morris LLP with partners, shareholders, government officials, and taxpayer-funded resources marshaled against a single woman who dared to speak the truth.
And despite the unimaginable pressure, she has never backed down.
What Leah Has Been Through
A Whistleblower Who Was Supposed to Be Silenced
In November 2020, Leah witnessed serious, documented irregularities in Delaware County’s election system. She submitted sworn declarations, demanded transparency, and filed Right-to-Know requests to shed light on what occurred inside the counting center.
Instead of correcting the problems, government officials targeted her.
She became the victim of orchestrated retaliation:
- County officials and private political operatives launched coordinated defamation efforts.
- The County concealed critical public records, misused privilege, and destroyed transparency.
- Special agents appeared at her home in acts of intimidation.
- Multiple lawsuits and sanctions motions were filed against her in an attempt to drain her resources.
- Political actors spread false claims that she was a “grifter” or “vexatious litigant”—claims repeatedly disproven in court.
Despite all of this, she kept fighting.
A Track Record of Truth—and Victory
Even without an attorney, Leah won cases that exposed the false narratives built around her:
Savage v. Trump et al.
- Judge Michael Erdos sanctioned opposing counsel, J. Connor Corcoran, for violating Rules 3.1, 3.3, and 8.4.
- The court confirmed that the claims against Leah had no basis in fact or law.
Allen v. Newsmax
- Presided over by Judge Jack Whelan in Delaware County.
- The case was dismissed with prejudice, again validating Leah’s defense and credibility.
These victories matter.
They prove that Leah is not the “vexatious litigant” the County paints her to be.
She is a competent, truthful, relentless citizen fighting corruption head-on.
The Government’s Retaliation Reached a New Level
When private actors failed to silence her in court, Delaware County itself stepped in.
Using taxpayer money, the County filed an unprecedented Dragonetti Act lawsuit against Leah a statute intended for private litigants, not government entities.
No county in Pennsylvania history has ever attempted this.
Because they legally cannot.
This was not a lawsuit.
It was an open act of lawfare a government punishing a citizen for exposing wrongdoing.
Leah responded the only way she knows how:
By studying the law, writing her own briefs, defending herself pro se, and refusing to be intimidated.
She uncovered:
- Mistakenly unredacted billing records showing concealed election issues.
- OOR findings of bad faith against the County (AP 2023-2757).
- Spoliation of metadata and destroyed privileges logs.
- Evidence that the County used public funds to retaliate against a whistleblower.
- Proof of a premeditated, politically motivated campaign to silence her.
She is exposing a system that never expected to be challenged—and that absolutely did not expect her to fight back this hard.
A Federal Pardon Confirms What She Was Doing Was Lawful
Leah served as an alternate elector and provided sworn testimony regarding election vulnerabilities.
She was included in the scope of President Trump’s broad federal pardon, covering:
- all conduct relating to alternate elector activity,
- efforts to expose 2020 election vulnerabilities,
- and advocacy surrounding election integrity.
Under binding Supreme Court precedent (Ex parte Garland), that pardon extinguishes all civil liability tied to those activities.
Yet Delaware County continues to pursue her.
Why?
Because this is retaliation—not justice. SHE WAS A TARGET OF ARCTIC FROST!!!
Fighting a $1 Billion Law Firm With No Lawyer of Her Own
Think about this for a moment:
- On one side: a single mother, self-funded, self-trained, fighting for the rule of law.
- On the other side: a multi-billion-dollar law firm, political operatives, government officials, and taxpayer-funded litigation teams.
Delaware County has used:
- taxpayer money,
- outside counsel,
- inflated solicitor budgets,
- and even a $3 million loan from PNC bank
to fuel the machine aimed directly at Leah.
She funds every motion, every transcript, every filing, every appearance, every printout, every record request, and every appeal on her own.
And she does this while continuing to help other pro se litigants, speak publicly, educate citizens, and expose corruption.

- transparency in elections
- the rule of law
- constraints on government power
- ending publicly funded lawfare
She is doing the work that institutions, elected officials, and the press refuse to do.
But no citizen can fight a government machine alone forever.
