Help us build Saint Francis Mission Chapel in East Tennessee
The Traditional Latin Mass is alive and growing in East Tennessee, and now we need your help to build it a permanent home.
Through the dedication of Fr. David Mary Engo of Our Lady of Sorrows, F.F.M., the Traditional Latin Mass is already being offered to the faithful in our area. Our goal is to establish a permanent chapel where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass can continue to be offered, the traditional sacraments administered, and Catholic families strengthened in their faith for generations to come.
We are raising $300,000 to build out the first part of Saint Francis Mission Chapel, an SSPX-affiliated mission chapel in Dandridge, Tennessee.
The land is purchased. The building exists. Now we need your help.
Through God's providence and the generosity of those who have already supported this mission, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has purchased 5.37 acres in Dandridge, Tennessee, complete with an existing 4,500-square-foot pole barn.
Rather than beginning with new construction, we plan to transform this existing structure into a beautiful, reverent chapel dedicated to the worship of Almighty God.
Our Phase 1 plans include:
- A traditional sanctuary for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (including an altar, altar rails, steps, pews, lighting, etc.)
- Choir loft
- Sacristy & confessional
- Bathrooms
Phase 2 will include
- Classrooms for religious instruction
- Kitchen and fellowship hall for parish gatherings
- An extended narthex
Phase 2 is a fundraiser for another time though, just wanted to give you a sneak peek.
What stands today as a simple barn can, with your help, become a sacred place where Catholics throughout East Tennessee gather in prayer, receive the sacraments, and pass on the traditions of our Holy Faith to their children.
Will You Help Us Build?
We humbly ask you to consider supporting this mission.
Whether your contribution is $25, $100, $500, or whatever you are able to give, every donation brings us closer to opening the physical doors of Saint Francis Mission Chapel.
If you are unable to give financially, please keep this mission in your prayers and consider sharing our fundraiser with family, friends, and fellow Catholics who cherish the Traditional Latin Mass.
The Mass is already being offered. The land is already ours. The building is waiting. With your help, we can make Saint Francis Mission Chapel a permanent home for Catholic tradition in East Tennessee.
May God reward you abundantly for your prayers, generosity, and support.
Sancte Francisce, ora pro nobis!
