Post Falls is going to add a nativity set to our Christmas decorations this year! A real one that looks nice. We want to have 48" fiberglass statues in a wooden manger. I'm asking for community support to fund this addition to our regular Christmas display.
Why a fundraiser? Why not spend tax dollars?
As a fiscal conservative, I believe taxes should be the bare minimum to fund necessary public infrastructure. Given tight budget constraints and our desire to keep taxes low, I believe this should come from community support rather than raising taxes. If this is something we value, we can do it together.
Who can contribute? Do I have to live in Post Falls?
Anyone can! If you believe it's important to highlight the true meaning of Christmas, then help us restore what many places in our nation have lost.
Note that the image shown is an AI rendering based on the options we were looking at. Any money received over the goal will go toward upgrading the nativity set and improving our overall Christmas decorations.
