I was helping my mom by painting the inside of her house because she is unable to do it. Close to finishing it, I foolishly tripped over a baby gate that kept the dog out of the bedrooms while I paint and landed on the edge of the couch with my elbow forced sideways over my head as I felt the POP! The pain I felt was indescribable; I immediately got nauseous and was seeing stars for 10 mins. A week ago, I got the bad news that surgery is required. I don't like asking for money from other people, which is why it took me so long to create one of these. But my faith in humanity compels me to reach out for help. The surgery will require me to be out of work for 3 to 6 months at the least, and I'm asking for help covering what I'll need during that time.
