Faster than Yesterday

Avery learned how to swim when she was 10yrs old at swim camp in Phoenix Arizona, she's been making waves in the swimming world ever since, rapidly ascending the ranks with a blend of raw talent and unwavering dedication. She is known for her passion and hardworking spirit, she’s harnessed her drive to become a promising swimmer in her age group. 

Homeschooled, Avery balances her rigorous training schedule with a rich tapestry of interests that include reading, painting, music, and math.  She loves running, crocheting and crafting (she made the paper flowers she's holding in her campaign picture) 

What truly sets Avery apart, however, is her team spirit. She’s not just a competitor, she’s a phenomenal teammate who uplifts and encourages those around her, pushing her peers to excel while cheering them on with genuine enthusiasm, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship.

Avery’s story is one of inspiration, highlighting how passion, hard work, and a supportive community can lead to extraordinary accomplishments at a young age. She’s not just a rising star in swimming but a well-rounded individual with a promising future ahead. 

In her very first year Avery progressed from learning all four strokes to competing in and placing at state and regional championships, her commitment is truly inspiring.   

These incredible victories came just a short time after a sudden onset of asthma just prior to swimming, fortunately her vigorous swim and dryland practices have strengthened her lungs and with close monitoring her medication usage has decreased tremendously.  Avery is an audacious, determined, outspoken, young girl with a strong faith, and a love for swimming.  She doesn't allow asthma to limit her.  Instead, has embraced this as a challenge, breaks through her limitations. 

The reality is elite swimming is brutally expensive, especially when your athlete is aiming for open-water marathon swims and the Olympic pool.  Every donated dollar goes to her continued development and competition as she sets her sights on national competitions and her ultimate dream the Olympics and the English Channel as of today.
