Standing in Faith for the Comer’s Family ❤️🙏🏼
A FAMILY UNITED IN FAITH, SURROUNDED BY LOVE, AND LIFTED UP IN PRAYER.
Our family is going through a very difficult journey, and we are coming together to ask for prayers, love, and support for the Comers family as they navigate this challenging time. We believe in the power of prayer, the goodness of God, and the strength He provides when we need Him most. We are trusting in His love and asking Him to surround this family with peace, comfort, and healing.
Two of their children, Carli and Sergio, are currently receiving intensive medical care at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. Both children are facing serious medical challenges, and their family is doing everything they can to stay strong, remain close to their children, and lean on their faith throughout this journey.
Carli is receiving critical care for complications involving her brain, lungs, and heart. She has significant brain inflammation and swelling, serious lung complications, and an unstable heart. She is receiving ECMO support, an advanced life-support treatment that helps circulate and oxygenate her blood when her body needs additional assistance. Her medical team continues to care for her around the clock as we pray for her body to grow stronger and for healing to take place.
Her brother, Sergio, is also receiving intensive medical care as he faces serious health challenges of his own. We are lifting both children up in prayer, asking God to strengthen their little bodies, guide their medical teams, and bring healing to them each day.
Their two other daughters have also been sick and are at the hospital receiving medical evaluations. Thankfully, they are doing much better, and we are grateful for the progress they have made. We continue to pray for the health, protection, and well-being of all four children.
Through this difficult journey, their parents have been staying by their children’s sides, giving them all their love, comfort, and support. As a family, we are holding tightly to our faith and trusting God to give them the strength they need for each new day. We believe that even during challenging seasons, His love remains constant, His presence brings comfort, and we can always turn to Him in prayer.
Along with the emotional demands of having children in the hospital, there are also many unexpected expenses that come with this journey. Gas, hospital parking, meals, daily necessities, and missed work can quickly add up. We want to help ease some of these financial responsibilities so the Comers family can focus on caring for their children and being present with them during this important time.
We have created this fundraiser to bring our community together and provide practical support for the family. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help with their immediate expenses and remind them that they have a community standing beside them.

Please pray for Carli’s brain swelling to decrease, for her lungs and heart to become stronger and more stable, and for healing throughout her body. Pray for Sergio’s strength, healing, and recovery. Pray for the continued health of their two sisters. We also ask for prayers over their parents, that God would fill them with peace, renew their strength, and remind them that they are surrounded by love and support.
We pray for wisdom and guidance for every doctor and nurse caring for these precious children. May God work through their hands, give them discernment, and guide every step of their care.
As it says in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
We are choosing to stand firm in our faith, trusting in God’s love and continuing to pray for healing and restoration. We know that prayer brings people together, strengthens our hearts, and reminds us that we are never alone in the journeys we face.
