On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, our community suffered a heartbreaking and unexpected loss. Jasmine Raeann Laughlin, 29, of Birmingham, Iowa, passed away at Jefferson County Health Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa. Funeral arrangements and services are currently pending.
Jasmine was a loving wife to her husband, Dillon, and a loving mother to their two children, Lauren and Henry. Her passing is a devastating loss for her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Jasmine had many close friends through her job at Cambridge, as well as many friends throughout the Fairfield community. She touched the lives of those around her, and she will be deeply missed by so many. During this incredibly difficult time, any support for Dillon, Lauren, and Henry is sincerely appreciated as they navigate life after this heartbreaking loss.
We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, which are expected to total approximately $15,000, as well as other essential expenses during this difficult time. Losing Jasmine so unexpectedly has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on her family while they try to process this heartbreaking tragedy.
