It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our dad, Anthony “Tony” Zitzman Jr.
Tony was a beloved husband, father of five, grandfather, uncle, coach, friend, and so much more. Above everything, he was a family man. He spent his life working hard, loving deeply, and doing everything he could to take care of the people who meant the most to him.
As a truck driver, Dad spent countless miles on the road and took tremendous pride in being able to provide for his family. He was the person you could call when you needed help, advice, a laugh, or simply someone in your corner. His sarcastic humor, generous heart, and willingness to always show up for the people he loved are things we will carry with us forever.
Dad was the primary provider for our household, and his unexpected passing has brought many sudden changes for our mom and our family. As we navigate the difficult days ahead, we have created this GoFundMe to help with funeral and memorial expenses and to provide some support toward household expenses during this transition.
Our dad spent his life making sure his family was taken care of, and we hope to honor him by making sure our mom has the support she needs while adjusting to life without him.
As a founding member of Father Time he never let the distance stop him from showing up. Although he moved to PA years ago he continued to be an involved member in every way, from taking off work to leaving any hour of the morning to make sure he could show up for the Keansburg community and his Father Time family.
Any contribution will be deeply appreciated, but there is absolutely no expectation. Sharing this fundraiser, offering a kind word, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much to us.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared a memory, or reminded us just how many lives Dad touched. The love being shown to our family is something we will never forget.
We know some people are hesitant to donate to fundraisers like this so Cash App/venmo can be given upon request.
We love you, Dad. Until we meet again. ❤️
