On October 18, 2026, Pastor Jerry Walker Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After 54 years of marriage, his wife Dawn Walker is now facing the practical and financial realities that follow the loss of a spouse.
Jerry faithfully pastored for 30 years in New York City—three years in Manhattan and 27 years at Bay Ridge Baptist Church in Brooklyn. He and Dawn built their life and ministry around serving the Lord and caring for others. Now the family is asking for help so Dawn can cover funeral and memorial expenses and have a measure of financial stability in the months ahead.
All gifts will go directly toward funeral costs and ongoing support for Dawn as she adjusts to life without Jerry. The family is deeply grateful for every act of kindness and prayer during this time.
