A Faith-Based, Trauma-Informed 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization

"He will gather the lambs in His arms and carry them close to His heart." — Isaiah 40:11

Who We Are

Help for His Lambs, Inc. (HFHL) exists to restore hope and healing to abused, neglected, exploited, homeless, and traumatized children, teens, and young adults. We serve vulnerable individuals affected by abuse, abandonment, trafficking, addiction, poverty, family disruption, grief, homelessness, and other adverse childhood experiences.

HFHL is building a regional network of faith-based and community partners dedicated to helping young people heal, develop resilience, and achieve their God-given potential through compassionate, trauma-informed survival-care and restoration.

Our Vision

To be a beacon of hope and healing for abused and traumatized children and young adults by providing trauma-informed counseling, education, mentoring, temporary housing, and supportive services within safe and compassionate communities.

Our Mission

HFHL works to restore lives through a comprehensive, regional trauma-informed model of care by providing:

• Behavioral health, addiction recovery, trauma, and spiritual support services.

• Christ-centered counseling, mentoring, and discipleship opportunities.

• Educational support, tutoring, and life-skills development.

• Training for pastors, church leaders, educators, counselors, mentors, and volunteers to effectively serve vulnerable youth.

• Partnerships that strengthen families and communities while promoting long-term healing and resilience.

Our approach seeks to help children and young adults heal emotionally, physically, academically, socially, and spiritually while preparing them for healthy, productive futures.
