🌟 My Journey of my eye pain Through Uncertainty & alot of doubt with My Eye problems & now my Vision is in Jeopardy 🙁
It all started years ago in 2014 when I felt like something was moving around in my eyes. I've never had a style or pinkeye or any other kind of issues.. I believe now after all the years I figured out exactly what the issue is The world around me seems to be fading, or cloudy & colors blending into one another in an eerie haze that has me feeling utterly helpless. As someone who values her independence and daily routines, this new reality terrifies me more by the day. My vision is now rapidly deteriorating, but the terrifying truth? It isn't getting any better; it keeps just continuing downhill unless I get help fast! 😥
The cost of my medical intervention is nothing short of staggering: a cornea transplant, or keratoplasty, could range between $13,000 and $28,000 depending on the procedure type, location, and facility—and that’s before considering the donor tissue costs which are about $3,700. The surgery itself is only part of it; there's also follow-up care, medications, travel expenses...the list goes on!
But here's where I need help because I can't find a good doctor that specializes in paracedic issues & of course with no insurance coverage and a medical situation that can’t wait, these funds are my lifeline to preserving my sight. Yet, the thought of going blind fills me with such dread- not just for myself but also because there is so much more I want to see in this world! 😌
