Stephanie’s Brain Surgery & recovery

On October 10th 2026 my sister Stephanie Estrada from Eagle Point Oregon was struck by a vehicle while riding her e bike. She received a severe head injury causing brain swelling and a seizure. Upon arrival at the hospital she was brought into emergency brain trauma surgery for a hematoma. The surgery was successful but she is still unconscious. 12 hours later she had a CT scan and the results look good. She is starting to have movement and responds to our voices. We know she is with us and she will be in the ICU for minimum of 1 month of not much more for her recovery. My mom will be out of work and we are applying for the family care act but we are trying to raise funds for long term medical expenses and living expenses for my mom since she will be out of work for an extended period of time.
