A Mission God Placed on Our Hearts
My story began when I was 18 years old. I was diagnosed with cancer and told I would never have children. But through my journey with food, healing, faith, and perseverance, God carried me through what once seemed impossible. Today, I am blessed to be a mother of four beautiful children. What I once thought was the end of my story became the beginning of a much greater purpose.
That journey led our family to the farm, where God placed a mission on our hearts: to help save the American farmer and reconnect families with the food that nourishes them.
America is losing an average of 77 farms every day. Over the past century, we have lost more than 5 million family farms. We believe this is not sustainable, and we knew we couldn't simply stand by and watch. That is why we created Mulberry Tree, a live, farmer-owned, family-owned farm-to-fork recipe app built to help get real food from American farmers onto your plates.
Farmers can list their products in our app without listing fees, commissions, or middlemen taking a cut. Through our delicious recipes and digital farmers market, families can discover and buy directly from local farmers. When local options aren't available, our Instacart integration offers another way to get ingredients delivered to your door.
Our mission goes beyond food. Through our 24/7 Farmers Market, we also support American family-run businesses, giving people a place to sell their goods without imported products competing on our platform. Farmers can connect with other businesses to sell live animals, hatching eggs, tools, and more. We are building a community that puts American families, farmers, makers, and small businesses first.
Mulberry Tree is our labor of love. We have self-funded this mission from the beginning, building it as a family without outside capital, because we believe in what God has placed on our hearts. We haven't sold out, and we are committed to keeping our mission centered on the people and communities we serve.
The mulberry tree represents liberty, independence, and the roots that sustain us. We believe it is time to restore the connection between our food, our land, and the people who grow it.
If our story speaks to you, please support our mission and help us grow. Together, we can make a difference for the next generation of American farmers and families.
