Help us bring Into The Brew Coffee House
& the Sweet Home Gift Stop
back home.
We need to relocate, and for reasons beyond our control. But we're not giving up on Sweet Home.
Our Goal: $25,000
We're raising $25,000 to relocate Into The Brew Coffee House and Sweet Home Gift Stop, build out a new space, and create something even better right here in Sweet Home, Oregon.
Our Purpose
If you've ever stopped by Into The Brew, you already know what makes a place like this special.
It's not just the coffee (and we serve so much more than that!). It's having somewhere to go when you need to get out of the house, catch up with a friend, work remotely, support a local maker, or simply exist somewhere that isn't home or work.
In a world where so much of our social lives happens through screens, places where we can connect face-to-face matter more than ever. That's what we've worked so hard to create at Into The Brew: a place for our community to gather, connect, and feel at home.
Now, we're asking that same community to help us bring it back.
Our Story
This past year has brought significant and unexpected challenges.
The four of us began this venture together, with Edie and her husband (at the time) purchasing the commercial building and Nikki and her husband making a substantial financial investment in the business.
Not long after opening, circumstances changed dramatically. Following inappropriate behavior and escalating difficulties at home, Edie obtained a FAPA protective order and began what has become a nearly year-long, exhausting divorce process.
Throughout this time, we continued working to keep the businesses running while navigating complicated circumstances involving the building, its ownership, and our landlord relationship.
Ultimately, Edie was awarded her marital and majority interest in the business, and the commercial building housing three businesses was to be sold. Unfortunately, the transition has not gone as hoped.
Despite our efforts to honor our lease and work through the situation, we've faced utility shutoffs and overdue mortgage payments on the building — circumstances outside our control and beyond what we can reasonably resolve as tenants.
We've tried. We've worked hard. And we've done everything we can to keep our doors open.
But we've reached a point where relocating is necessary if we're going to continue operating.
On October 16, 2026, we officially closed our doors at our current location.
It was heartbreaking. This place has meant so much to us, and we know it has meant something to many of you, too.
But after allowing ourselves a little time to grieve, we're ready to focus on what's next.
Our Next Chapter: Still Sweet Home
We're pursuing an opportunity to purchase a different building, renovate it, and create an even better home for Into The Brew Coffee House and Sweet Home Gift Stop.
And there's one thing we want you to know:
We're staying in Sweet Home. Opening in another town is not an option for us. This is our community, and this is where we want to be.
We have a potential location in mind, and the ball is rolling. Now, we need help bringing the vision to life.
Our $25,000 goal will go toward the essential work needed to make a new space operational, including:
- Plumbing and water service
- Electrical work to support our coffee and other equipment
- Build-out of our service and customer areas
- Contractor labor and necessary renovations
- Heating and air conditioning, if needed
Every dollar will help us get closer to reopening our doors and welcoming you back.
How You Can Help
If you've ever been part of our story, we invite you to be part of our next chapter.
If you're able to donate, thank you. Truly. Every contribution, large or small, will help us get closer to opening again.
If you're one of our loyalty members, imagine what could happen if each of us contributed just the cost of our favorite drink from Into The Brew. Together, we could reach our $25,000 goal.
And if giving financially isn't possible right now, sharing our fundraiser, spreading the word, and keeping us in your thoughts means more than you know.
If you're the praying type, please pray for everyone involved in these difficult circumstances — for health, healing, peace, and faith as we all navigate what comes next.
This Was Always About More Than Coffee
If this particular location falls through, we won't give up. We'll keep looking for a way forward.
Because this was never just about money or entrepreneurship. It was about creating something meaningful for Sweet Home. It was about supporting local makers, giving people a place to gather, and making our community a little more connected.
We believe Sweet Home deserves places like that. And we're not ready to stop trying.
Thank you for your time. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives. Thank you for supporting us, believing in us, and being part of what made Into The Brew special.
We will miss seeing you all across the counter — at least for now.
This isn't goodbye. It's see you again soon.
With love and gratitude,
Edie, Nikki, Brian & kids
