A serious accident changed 19-year-old Lauryn’s life in an instant on October 10, 2026. What should have been an ordinary Saturday morning turned tragic, reminding us how fragile life can be.
While hauling three cows along Highway 395 near Mesa, Washington, Lauryn was involved in a serious rollover accident. Although she has no recollection of the accident, her truck and livestock trailer left the highway and rolled down a steep embankment. Despite wearing a seatbelt, Lauryn was partially ejected through the side window of her F-350. Even her shoes went missing in the accident and have yet to be found.
She was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment. Thankfully, her life was spared, but Lauryn sustained multiple serious injuries, including:
● A broken shoulder
● A broken sternum and ribs
● Three spinal fractures
● A collapsed lung requiring a chest tube
● A broken jaw requiring surgery
● A head injury requiring stitches
Lauryn’s truck and livestock trailer were both completely totaled. Thankfully, all three cows survived the accident unharmed.
Before the accident, Lauryn was building a future for herself while caring for the animals she loves. A hardworking and independent young woman, she has a special love for mules and has traveled across the West competing and winning equestrian competitions alongside her mule, Cash.
Now, her focus must be on recovering from extensive injuries and managing the practical consequences of the accident.
Lauryn has no health insurance, no current income, and no financial safety net. She will need ongoing medical care, follow-up appointments, transportation, nutritional support, and time away from her usual activities. She is also facing the loss of her truck and trailer, everyday living expenses, and other costs that will arise during her extended recovery.
We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden Lauryn is facing and give her the opportunity to focus on healing. Every donation will go directly to Lauryn to help with everyday living expenses, transportation, medical needs, and the unexpected challenges of recovery. Our hope is to provide her with some peace of mind and the support she needs to rebuild her independence.
Any donation or share can help ease the financial pressure she is facing and remind her that she doesn’t have to navigate this difficult time alone.
Please keep Lauryn in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her recovery. Your prayers, well wishes, encouragement, donations, and shares mean so much and can help lift her spirits during the challenging weeks and months ahead.
Let’s help Lauryn get back in the saddle and return to the life she loves. Thank you for supporting Lauryn during this difficult time.
