Yesterday, our lives were completely turned upside down. Our sweet beagle, Banjo, was in a traumatic accident. He is currently in the ICU at BluePearl Pet Hospital fighting hard, and he is being treated for severe pulmonary contusions (lung bruising).
We adopted Banjo from the shelter 4 years ago, and from that exact moment, he became the absolute heart of our family. Anyone who knows him knows what a gentle, loving soul he is.
We are doing everything we can to save him. We have already applied for financial assistance and have been approved for a portion of his ICU balance through CareCredit, but the remaining costs for his emergency treatments and around-the-clock intensive care are still overwhelming.
