My name is James Price. In the first week of October 2016, I lost my mother Violet — my only parent, my best friend. Three days later, my dog Ace gave his life protecting my twin grandchildren from attacking dogs. In three days, my whole world was gone.
I fell. Addiction, homelessness, nights outside with nothing but grief. But in the dark I could still hear my mother's voice, the words she taught me all my life: "Make a negative a positive. Turn it around."
So I turned it around.
With a phone and a notebook, living outside, I founded Eternity Gravestones LLC — memorial keepsakes that keep a loved one's voice and video alive, because I know what it is to never hear that voice again. I wrote my memoir, Violet's Light™, on that phone. I have documented 221 inventions — every one of them aimed at helping somebody: grieving families, lost pets, injured children, people sleeping on concrete like I did.
I didn't do it alone. God carried me, and people prayed. Active Minds has published my story. 255 churches across America and around the world are now standing with this mission. A retired fire chief who has known me ten years stands as my reference for a national grant. The seeds are planted everywhere. What they need now is water.
This fundraiser builds the first real things:
Little Hero™ — a first aid + fireworks safety kit for children, born from a fire-service heart.
QR Pet Voice Tag™ — scan it and hear the owner's voice, so a lost best friend gets home.
Violet's Light™ in print — free copies into the hands of churches, hospitals, and grief groups.
Solar Shelter Backpack™ — light, power, and shelter in one bag, for the person I used to be.
Where every dollar goes: $2,500 — Little Hero™ prototype and first batch; $2,000 — QR Pet Voice Tag™ first engraved batch; $2,000 — printed copies of Violet's Light™ for churches, hospitals, and grief groups; $1,000 — Solar Shelter Backpack™ prototype.
I am not asking you to fund a company. I am asking you to help me put hope into people's hands — the same hope that was handed to me when I had nothing.
Give if you can. Share either way. Pray above all.
And hear this from a man who means it: what we do in life echoes at Eternity.
