Everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe.

For a survivor of domestic violence, having a safe place to go can be the difference between being able to leave, and forced to stay. That's why we are creating The Olive House.

The Olive House will be a private, single-family home created specifically to provide safe, stable, permanent housing for a survivor of domestic violence.

This is not a shelter. There will be no dormitories, communal living spaces, or revolving door of temporary residents. It will be a home. A private place to live without fear, breathe, heal, and begin anew.

A Home That Stays

The Olive House is the first property being developed through the RS Development Group model.

RS Development Group identifies overlook properties and brings them back to life by creating homes with a larger purpose, rather than building a home to eventually sell, The Olive House is being created to remain a permanent housing resource for survivors.

When one resident is ready for their next chapter, the home stays, ready to welcome whoever comes next. Another survivor can walk through the same door and have the same opportunity to heal in a beautiful, private home of their own.

The property is permanent. The resident's future is their own.

We Don't Define a Survivor by What Happened to Them

We don't believe a survivor should be defined by what happened to them. And we don't believe success should be measured by how long someone needs a safe place to stay.

Maybe their next chapter means a new job.

Maybe it means raising their children somewhere safe.

Maybe it means purchasing a home of their own.

Or maybe it simply means waking up one morning and realizing that their life finally feels like it belongs to them again.

Whatever comes next, that future belongs to them.

The Olive House is simply meant to provide the foundation from which they can build it.
