We are reaching out because our friend Ashley and her family are desperately in need our help. After a brain surgery on October 5th, and radiation (which was unsuccessful), it was discovered that the tumor in Ashley's brain has come back and doubled in size in only 6 weeks.  As of last week, Ashley finally has a diagnosis: Supratentorial Ependymoma. It's a rare form of cancer that only responds to specific types of radiation, so treatment options are limited.

Through what honestly feels like a series of miraculous events, Ashley has been in contact with doctors at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas (one of the best cancer hospitals in the country). They are willing to operate on her and follow her case which is huge. 

Unfortunately, Ashley's insurance won't cover the surgery. She is fighting it, but time is of the essence and she can not wait. The Dennis family needs to raise $22,000 just for initial pathology, consults, scans and tests alone, and it has to be paid in full before they can even schedule her initial appointment. On top of that, they’ll also need to pay for the surgery and any prospective treatments. She'll need to fly from LA to Houston and potentially stay there for several months during treatment.  

What donations will go toward:

• The $22,000 pathology, consult, scans & tests (must be paid upfront)
  
• Surgery & radiation costs 
• Flights to Houston (they will have to drive back)
• Housing and expenses while she's there
• Any other needs for her and her kids during this time
