Stand With Nepal for the Persecuted & Trafficked

My name is Panite Sapkota (Sobit), and I am serving as a chapter volunteer with a burden to stand in prayer and action for people facing suffering, injustice, and fear.

Every day, I lead a two-hour prayer meeting for people who are persecuted, exploited through human trafficking, and affected by urgent national challenges. We are praying for freedom for the oppressed, healing for victims and grieving families, protection for vulnerable people, and peace in communities affected by conflict.

Recent tensions between Hindu and Muslim communities have brought fear, loss, and uncertainty to families. Reports indicate that communal violence has spread in parts of southern Nepal, resulting in deaths, injuries, curfews, and urgent calls for peace and reconciliation. In such a time, the Church must be present—not with hatred or division, but with the love, prayer, and compassion of Jesus Christ.
