Property taxes due, Please help me keep my home

Hi everyone,

I am a now disabled, Air Force widow trying to make it on my own.

I’m reaching out because I’m facing the possibility of losing my home due to the property taxes.

They are coming due very soon (on August 31st), and I don’t have the money to pay them in full, ($3900.00). But I have managed to save a little bit towards them this year.

This house isn’t just a building—it’s where my husband (deceased) and I built our lives, and the place that has kept me and my flock and various rescue animals safe and stable since his death. Now in old age, with limited income, it’s hard to get by daily much less save for these outrageous property taxes.

It’s our home, our hearthstone and our safe haven.

Not being able to pay the full amount due, will put it at risk. I’m doing everything I can to catch up before it’s too late and all the late fees, interest, etc., start being added to the original balance on a daily basis. But like clockwork, they come due every year.

It’s heartbreaking when you work hard for your entire life to own your home/property, pay your bills on time , take care of everyone else etc., and still every year, risk losing it all because the government says you still owe them property taxes for something that took years to pay off/own to start with. I’m sorry for that rant…

Any amount helps, every dollar of every contribution goes directly toward paying the property taxes.

I’ve been working hard and looking for every possible solution, but the deadline is approaching fast and this is my last resort.

Your support would mean the world to me and my flock and would help me stop worrying if the flock and I are going to be homeless.
