Koda’s New Chapter: In Memory of Shirley McCool

Shirley Ann McCool loved her family deeply, but one very special companion held a unique place in her heart—her beloved cat, Koda. Koda was more than a pet; he was her companion, her comfort, and a cherished part of her life.

Following Shirley’s passing, Koda will be going into the loving care of Gaylon Starkey, who has graciously agreed to provide for him and give him a safe and loving home.

In lieu of flowers for Shirley’s graveside service, the family is asking those who wish to honor her memory to consider making a donation toward Koda’s care. Donations will help provide for his food, veterinary care, and other needs as he begins this new chapter.
