In Loving Memory of Jennifer Wissmann

My name is Michael, and I am raising funds in memory of my beautiful wife of 25 years, Jennifer. On Saturday, September 26, 2026, Jennifer passed away peacefully at our home, surrounded by the family who loved her.

Jennifer was the heart of our home—a devoted homemaker and homeschooling mother to our four children: Katie, Ian, Gabe, and Connor. She was cheerful, down-to-earth, sweet, and kind, with just the right touch of sass. She found joy in the little things, whether it was gaming, caring for her pets (especially her two newest kittens), or simply being together. A woman of deep Christian faith, she loved the Lord and her family above all.

For the past three years, Jennifer fought a grueling battle with breast cancer. We were given a brief window of hope when her oncologist declared her cancer-free, but it cruelly returned. Her final months were incredibly difficult as her health and mobility rapidly declined, but through all the heartbreak and physical toll, we stood by her until the very end.

Now, we are preparing to bring her back to where she grew up. We will be driving up to Indiana to lay her to rest at Hamilton Church in New Carlisle—the same historic family church where we were married in 2000.

Over the last three years, keeping up with out-of-pocket medical maximums completely drained our savings. We are keeping funeral costs as modest as possible. I am asking for help to cover these basic memorial expenses, our travel to Indiana, and potentially a few days of unpaid leave so I can keep my family afloat and begin rebuilding the funds my wife and I planned on using to get our four kids a start in life.
