Honoring Helen, Supporting Zachary

Helen Henderson was Ronald’s sister, and her family is facing the heartbreaking loss of her after she passed away from diabetes. Helen was a single mom, and her biggest goal in life was to take care of her only son, Zachary, who was born prematurely. She became diabetic as a teenager, and over the years she faced many serious health challenges because of it. A few years ago, Helen had to have part of her foot amputated because of complications from diabetes. She wasn’t able to work, and it was very common for her to have overnight hospital stays. Even through all of that, Helen kept fighting and stayed focused on being there for Zachary. Her death has left loved ones grieving while also trying to handle the urgent costs that come with saying goodbye. This fundraiser is being created to help ease that burden during an incredibly painful time and to make sure Helen can be laid to rest with dignity and care. The funds raised will go toward Helen’s funeral arrangements and toward helping support Zachary as the family faces this sudden loss. Right now, any support can make a real difference for Helen’s loved ones as they navigate both emotional and financial hardship.
