Here I Am, Send Me: Philippines Mission 2027 🇵🇭

In January 2026, on my way home from the Philippines, I had an encounter that I now truly believe was a divine appointment.

During my layover in Seattle, I met Missionary Wally Trinidad. What started as a simple conversation while waiting after our long flight, quickly turned into us talking about Jesus, His goodness, and our love for Him. We had so much time to talk as we made our way through the airport, and before we went our separate ways, we exchanged information.

At the time, I had no idea what God would do with that encounter.

Missionary Wally and I stayed in contact throughout the year. A few months later, she invited me to join their Dawn Watch prayer calls with believers in the Philippines. She also prayed over me and shared that she believed I would one day go on mission with her, whether that would be in 2026 or 2027.

Since then, I have spent months praying about this opportunity and asking God to lead me according to His will, not my own. And now, after much prayer, I truly feel led to take this step of faith.

From March 1 through April 29, 2027, I will be in the Philippines serving alongside Missionary Wally and Assignment Great Commission.

Their ministry is centered around sharing the Gospel and making disciples through evangelism, prayer and intercession, discipleship, house churches, community outreach, and other ministry efforts throughout the Philippines. During these two months, I’ll be coming alongside the work God is already doing and making myself available to serve wherever I’m needed.

My housing and most of my transportation while I’m there are already provided, so funds raised will primarily help with transportation to the Philippines, food, ministry and outreach expenses, supplies, and other needs that arise while serving.

More than anything, my heart behind this mission is simple:

I want God’s will to be done, and I want my will to align with His.

I am simply a servant of the Lord, ready to be used by Him wherever He sends me. I don’t know every person I’ll meet, every conversation I’ll have, or everything these two months will hold. But I know that I want my answer to God to continually be:

“Here I am. Send me.” — Isaiah 6:8
