I’m a single parent raising my child, and I’m starting this fundraiser with one goal: to pay off the remaining mortgage on our home. Our household lives on a fixed income. We have worked hard to maintain our home and everyday responsibilities, but the mortgage remains our largest expense. Our goal is to raise enough to completely pay off the remaining mortgage. Once the mortgage is paid, the fixed income we receive each month can go toward the things a family needs every day—food, heat, utilities, clothing, school supplies, household necessities, and maintaining our home. ’m not asking to fund a lifestyle or give us money for something unnecessary. I’m asking for help accomplishing one major goal that would make a lasting difference for our family.

Our current mortgage balance is approximately $127,000 and our fundraising goal is $130,000 to allow for the final payoff amount and any related costs.

Every donation, no matter the amount, would bring us one step closer to becoming mortgage-free.

I will be completely transparent about the purpose of this fundraiser. The money raised is intended to be used to pay off the remaining mortgage and any costs directly related to completing that payoff.
