Help the Deans Recover from House Fire

Jessica homeschools their son who is a senior and caretakers for their adult special needs daughter. They are a Christian family and have helped many others in the past. Their house was hit two years ago by the tornado JUST after renovating it. They spent the entire summer of 2024 getting it fixed.

sept 28: Monday morning at 4:10, Jessica awoke to the sound of her porch burning. Jessica, Garrett, Corbin, and Lydia Dean lost nearly everything in the fire. The main part of the house is a total loss, and we're still unsure what can be salvaged from the basement.

They lost Garrett's wallet, Jessica's purse, and both Corbin and Garrett's phones. Lydia lost her doll, her baby. Corbin lost his entire bedroom and everything in it. All the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and dining room are gone. Garrett also lost some paychecks in the fire.

Beyond the immediate loss, they now face the work of dealing with insurance, replacing bank cards, getting new cell phones, and rebuilding. They're currently staying at our parents' house. Katlyn, who was staying with them as she recovers from a broken ankle and surgery, has been moved as well.
