Help for Pamela and Joel

It was exactly a year ago that my sister put together a fundraiser to help make things easier when I was recovering from surgery and home from work for awhile. I am SO VERY GRATEFUL to all of you who prayed, gave, and reached out.

Now, it is my turn to help this same sister (Pamela) with a fundraiser to help her and her family.

A few weeks ago, my brother-in-law (Joel), had a very bad stomach bug which eventually hit almost all their family. While Joel went into the bathroom in the night, Pamela heard a thud. She went in to check on him: He had passed out on the floor, and apparently landed on his face. The moments that followed were rough as Joel was obviously confused, bleeding, etc. Pamela called the 911, but interrupted her own call to --- well, shall I say, the bug hit her too. Paramedics came, and Joel was taken to the hospital. While most everyone was home taking turns (or being miserable together) with "the bug", neighbors and others brought popsicles, stayed with Joel in the hospital, etc. Joel had suffered short-term memory loss as a result of the blow.

Moving on to today, all the family is better now, but Joel has to have physical therapy to get back to his old self again. He is the main bread-winner of the family, so they definitely could use a helping hand during this recovery period. I'm asking that we raise $7,000, but the amount needed is unknown based on not knowing what time it will take for Joel to be completely better. The medical bills are already covered, but special therapy and regular bills need funding.
